ESA Business Incubation Centre
Baden-Württemberg

The ESA Business Incubation Centre Baden-Württemberg was opened in 2018 with two locations in Reutlingen and Friedrichshafen. Since then, it has been supporting 15 startups per year that are pursuing a business idea related to space technology. In addition to monetary support the startups benefit from the large ESA BIC startup ecosystem as well as technical and business support from several partners.

Together with the one in Darmstadt, the ESA BIC Baden-Württemberg forms the ESA BIC Hessen & Baden-Württemberg. This makes it one of a total of 31 ESA BICs in Europe. Together, these accelerators form the largest European ecosystem for startups.
