The Reutlingen-based ESA BIC startup Xylene has won the Galileo Copernicus Prize worth 62,000€ in the Galileo Masters competition. The prize is awarded annually by GSA to projects that offer sustainable solutions to increase security on Earth. Xylene makes the wood processing process more sustainable by tracking the entire value chain from raw logging to distribution via blockchain to combat illegal overexploitation.
