Companies and research institutions in Baden-Württemberg have recognized the topic of safety & security. The Forum SatNav MIT BW has founded a working Group which is chaired by Gerhard Bernot. This Group is the organizer of the ESNC special award on safety-related solutions in transport and logistics as well.  Best practices from the state are presented in the current newsletter of the application center: Assistance and monitoring systems as well as access control and safety-relevant technologies are "made in Baden-Württemberg".
