Latest projects of the NAVKA team were in the focus of the kick-off meeting. One shown example was an indoor application: With a sensor attached to the shoe, the exact walk through a building can be well calculated. The idea was developed by Professor Reiner Jäger and his team. With each step the sensor comes to rest once and can thus be readjusted. If one does not want to place the sensor on the shoe, a spatially seeing camera is necessary. The camera's view results in so-called virtual markers, which in turn constantly detect the exact position, which means that indoor navigation is also highly precise.
