Paperless, but not haphazard

The construction site of the future is paperless, but by no means haphazard. This is ensured by the "Tiefbau 3Dplus" guide from MTS Maschinentechnik Schrode AG in Hayingen. It has just been awarded first prize in the national competition of the "European Satellite Navigation Competition 2016" (ESNC). With the help of positioning by satellite signals, the guide from MTS improves the processes in civil engineering projects. The advantage: processes and plans are electronically synchronized. You can find out more in the press release and the film from a pilot construction site. By the way, the creation of this image film is part of the award. The other prize winners:
Second place went to AFUSOFT Kommunikationstechnik GmbH from Königsbach-Stein. The third place went to the GeoNet.MRN e.V. network together with SAP SE. TWT GmbH Science & Innovation from Stuttgart received a special prize.
