On the 17th June 2020, there was another selection round for inclusion in the ESA BIC. A startup from Albstadt successfully made the pitch to ESA and is now part of the ESA BIC Baden-Württemberg, located in Reutlingen. H2E Ecosystem deals with an algae bioreactor, originally designed for space, and creates a cycle in which plants can grow from nutrients of fish excreta.
