The 6th of December 2021 one of our startups – Klaus Space Transportation GmbH made a great progress with their project. They made first tests of an innovative solution which can help with bringing rocket stages safe to the ground. The prototype of specially designed parachute was attached to the scaled down rocket stage 1:10 and was dropped down from a helicopter hovered at 600m altitude. This test took place over Kriegersee Lake. The main purpose of this test was to verify if parachute will deploy correctly and encapsulate the rocket. Everything went perfect.
