On the 26th March 2019, the kick-off event for the new network 'GeoNet Neckar-Alb' took place at the IHK Reutlingen. Stakeholders from science, business and administration met for a first acquaintance and exchange of information at the IHK. The network deals with regional geo-information with environmental, geo- or spatially relevant issues. Regular meetings of the network participants are planned for the future. The IHK network is implemented in close coordination with the GeoNet.MRN network of the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region based in Heidelberg.
